Carbon-silicon steel plates primarily for intermediate- and higher-temperature service in welded boilers and other pressure vessels. Plates are available in three grades having different strength levels:Grades 60, 65, 70, 415, 450 , and 485.
Alloy 347/347H Heat Resistant Stainless Steel Plate
General PropertiesCorrosion ResistanceMechanical PropertiesAlloy 347 (UNS S34700) is columbium stabilized austenitic stainless steel plate with good general corrosion resistance and somewhat better resistance in strong oxidizing conditions than 321 (UNS S32100). It has excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion after exposure to temperatures in the chromium carbide precipitation range of 800 1500°F (427 816°C). The alloy has good oxidation resistance and creep strength to 1500°F (816°C). It also possesses good low temperature toughness. Stainless Steel Sheet Metal McMaster-Carr309/310 stainless steel has high levels of chromium and nickel to provide good corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures. It's often used in heat exchangers and furnaces.
in a high-strength, low-alloy steel, U3U0M, and its effect on the mechanical properties of that steel. MATERIAL The U3U0M used in this study was received as a 2-l/U-in.-square billet. Composition by weight percent of the vacuum-melted steel (as reported by
Fasteners Bolt Grades, Strength & MaterialsFerritic Stainless Steel (Between 15%-18% Chromium) - Ferritic stainless steel has a tensile strength of 65,000 - 87,000 PSI. While it is still corrosion resistant, it is not recommended for areas where corrosion is likely to occur. This material cannot be heat treated. Due to the forming process it is magnetic and not suitable for welding.
Grades of Hot Rolled Steel - Steel, Aluminum, Stainless Oct 23, 2019 · C1045 is another AISI designated hot rolled steel. What makes this hot rolled steel different from the previously mentioned steels is that it is a medium carbon steel. With 0.42% to 0.50% carbon by weight, it generally provides more strength than low carbon hot rolled steels.
Olympic Steel boasts a broad range of hot rolled coil, sheet and plate steel products and grades in inventory; in both Hot Roll dry and Pickled and Oiled (P&O), automotive grades, Advanced High Strength Steels (AHSS), High Strength Low Alloys (HSLA) in both ASTM and AISI standards, as well as branded products COR-TEN®, DOMEX , EX-TEN®, FREMAX® steel products and more.
Hot Rolled Steel Sheet and Plate HR Steel Sheet & PlateHot rolled steel sheet and plate provides a rougher surface than cold rolled steel and plate. When galvanized it is also regularly used in applications where corrosion resistance is a necessity. High strength and highly formable HR steel sheet and plate is also easy to drill, form and weld.

Steel Plate Grades - Continental Steel & Tube CompanyPlates over 1 1/2 have carbon increasing to (0.20-0.33), this is a killed steel that provides the best combination of strength, weldability, and structural soundness. MEDIUM CARBON PLATE STEEL. Medium Carbon Plate Steel in the (.40-.50) carbon range is silicon killed and higher carbon for improved strength.
Steel Sheet - RyersonSteel Sheet. Ryersons steel sheet comes in a variety of grades and thicknesses. We offer carbon sheet coated, cold rolled, hot rolled, painted and as expanded metal. Common applications range from construction framing and ductwork to machinery framing.
